Welcome to BaitZone Crowsheath Fishery, an award winning lake situated in the heart of Essex on the green belt land far away from passing traffic and busy towns. The lakes are set in a 110 acres of farmland and rolling countryside. The CCTV and on call 24 hour bailiffs provide peace of mind when you’re fishing. The fishery is well equipped with male and female toilets, showers and clean drinking taps for customers. We provide a transport service for our customers to take them to their swims at a small cost. There are three lakes at Crowsheath, the main 8 1/2 acre specimen carp and catfish lake stocking carp up to 42lbs. There is a catfish canal holding the UK’s largest mandarin catfish which has tipped the scales at 72lbs previously. There is a pike lake stocking pike up to 22lbs which is perfect for lure fishing. Whether you’re a serious carp angler or you want to enjoy a day with your family, Crowsheath’s facilities make it a fishery you will return to again and again.

|Directions||From A12 On the A12 Head towards Chelmsford and leave the A12 at junction 16 and head towards Billericay on Stock Road (B1007). After you pass the Ship pub just further down the road, turn left onto Downham road. Follow Downham road all the way to the bottom and turn left onto Hawkswood road. Follow Hawswood road round a couple of bends and just before you come to the reservoir, you will find us on the right. From A127 Leave the A127 at the Wickford junction and head down Nevenden Road (A132) towards Wickford. At the roundabout go straight over and onto Golden Jubilee Way and keep going straight over the next roundabout too. At the third roundabout and at the end of Golden Jubilee Way, Take the first exit onto Runwell Road. Take the first right at the Swan pub which will take you onto Swan Lane. Keep following swan land for over 2 miles and you will find us on the left just after the reservoir. From A13 Head towards Canvey Island on the A13 and as you see signs for A130, stay in the right hand lanes and take the A130 towards Basildon and Wickford. Move into the left hand lane and take the filter lane and continue on A130. Take the next exit and turn right onto Runwell Road. Follow Runwell Road until you reach a roundabout and take the second exit back onto Runwell Road. Take the first right at the Swan pub which will take you onto Swan Lane. Keep following swan land for over 2 miles and you will find us on the left just after the reservoir.|
