Homersfield Lake is situated in the picturesque village of Homersfield which lies on the River Waveney splitting the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk. This 35-acre lake is set in 70 acres of landscaped grounds and holds an amazing stock of fish. It is mainly hidden from view and is considered one of the most prolific fisheries in the UK.
Holding Mirror and Common Carp to over 50lbs and a huge head of carp of 20lbs, 30lbs and 40lbs. The official British Wels Catfish record comes from here with Catfish now reaching over 80lbs. Also Tench over 13lbs, Roach over 4lbs, Bream over 15lbs and Perch reside in the lake. Since 1978 the Symonds family have owned, developed and run this prestigious fishery.
