Yew Tree

4 acre lake with two swims covered by YT9 holiday caravan, all other swims are private owners. Good head of catfish with at least two over 50lb. three common carp over 30lb to 37lb plus several 20’s and upper doubles. This lake has produced a few double figure Bream to 13lb.

Marsh Lake

Small horse shoe shaped lake with 7 swims no’s 1 & 2 are Day Ticket with the other five covered by holiday accommodation. Good head of catfish with two over 50lb and several 30’s and 40’s. A fair head of carp, mainly doubles but a few 20’s and 2 over 30lb.

Heartsmere Pool

A two & half acre lake with 5 swims, 1 & 2 on the point, 3,4 & 5 on one side fishing to the far tree line. 80 to 100 carp to 29lb, mainly stunning commons some with Redmire strain. Not an easy water but fine presentation and water craft will be rewarded.

Cherry Tree Lake

A Three acre lake with 11 swims on one side. Swims 3,4 and 5 are covered by holiday accommodation, the rest are private owners. Carp stock approximately 100 with several over 30lb with a good head of mid 20’s. Can be difficult but they do take well off the top in the warmer months. A good winter water.

Kingfisher Pool

A small pond suitable for two anglers, float or feeder fishing. Well stocked with quality mixed coarse fish. Days only (8am till 8pm)

All holiday swims can be bivvy fished when caravans are not booked.
We sell a reduced winter ticket from November till March.
None of our lakes are easy or over stocked waters, so you will need to think about your angling.
All other lakes at Waveney are now all private.

The village of Wortwell lies approximately 3 miles from Harleston and 5 miles from Bungay, just off the main A143. From The South Either: Take M25 to M11 North Take A11 towards Norwich Pick up A14 to Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich At Bury turn off onto A143 towards Diss and Gt Yarmouth Or: Take A12 to Ipswich Then A14 North for 8 miles Turn onto A140 towards Diss and Norwich At first roundabout, before Diss turn right onto A143 Then: 10 miles past Diss at second ‘Harleston’ Roundabout turn right sign posted Redenhall & Wortwell After 1 mile pass Bell pub and garage on right At caravan sign on left, turn right into driveway Pass through brick pillars to shop reception
